Today is brought to you by the word PATIENCE. According to Dictionary.com "Patience" is defined as "the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like." or "an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay". Yes, patience.
There is a particular person that I have been spending a lot of time with recently. It's a true treat because I do not get to see them often, but I have been seeing them everyday for the last few days. This person tends to spend a lot of time talking and I am starting to get a little annoyed by their constant commentary on everyday life. I have been trying to overcome my annoyance with grace, but I'm not sure how much longer that wall will hold up. Thus, I need patience.
My sister and I have many mutual friends, but this friend is a good deal closer with my sister. They went off this afternoon as kind of a "Last Hurrah!" before this friend leaves for college. Of course, I was left out. It happens a lot between the three of us, but that doesn't make it any less hurtful when I am overlooked.
Bunny Trail!--I HATE being overlooked. It makes me feel like I'm not worth the time and that the other party is being inconsiderate.
The Denver Broncos (my personal favorite football team) have drafted Tim Tebow from Florida. He won over 80% of all his games in college, including 2 BCS championships. I'm VERY excited to have him on the team. Will they put him in this season as a starter? No way. Thus, I need patience to see Tebow play in the big leagues.
I haven't been the best at anything...ever. So anyone who has dealt with me has had to have a fair amount of patience...and by a "fair amount" I mean A LOT!
